Coolest Baby Names Whimsical Vintage Inspired Posed Newborn Photography Humboldt-Wynyard-Yorkton-Saskatoon, Saskatchewan

Ok, so besides having the best job in the world (I mean…Who wouldn’t want to snuggle and huff newborn babies?? 😉 I also get to meet some really cool people and meet their really cool little babies.  And let me tell you, they also have some of the coolest names I’ve heard!! SO, if you’re stuck on a name or just can’t decide…(seriously, we flipped a coin on our way out or the hospital when we named our son!)  Then this post is for you 🙂

Naming your baby is a huge thing! Some people know exactly what they want to name their babies right away, others, like myself, have trouble narrowing it down.  I mean you, go through all possible nicknames and some not so nice nicknames that they could be called from the name you’ve chosen. And even then, I’m sure you’ll end up like me and totally miss one. My son’s name is Oaklen, and the one bloody nickname I did NOT think of people calling him was, Okie Dokie….UGH! The first time someone called him by that, I just about crapped my pants. I mean, I am absolutely certain you could have picked my jaw up off the floor.  How the hell could I have missed that?? Funny thing is, now, that’s what everyone calls him, and after 8.5 years, I’ve become sorta ok with it.

If you love tried and true names, or the idea of passing down family legacy names…Awesome! But if you’re anything like me, and refuse to do that (it just wasn’t my thing. And, besides, my sister-in-law stole my husbands name for their son before my son was born, which was totally unfair), I hope you get some inspiration from these unique and ridiculously cute baby names.
