Michelle is a kick-ass Hairstylist and has done my hair for the last 8 (8 or 9??) years. When she told me she was expecting, I honestly cried. I’m just so darn happy for her and Nick! I know they are going to be and already are amazing parents to Jude. They travelled two hours to my studio in Wynyard to hang out with me while I photographed Jude. They even fought over the donuts that I get specially made by our small town bakery for my newborn sessions. I have to say, I’d fight over their apple fritters too 🙂

I have to say, I seriously have the best clients. I have clients that have turned into friends, and now friends that are turning into clients. The friends that turn into clients have my heart. To witness a friend become a mother is absolutely incredible. It’s like, even though we already have things in common and enjoy our friendship, once they become momma’s the friendship goes that much deeper.
