A Gorgeous Beach Sunset Maternity Session { Maternity Photographer Humboldt SK }
I love sunset sessions. I love the beach . I love maternity sessions. Add them all up together and you have a gorgeous beach sunset maternity session maternity photographer Humboldt SK. Seriously, it was pure magic. And also add in the fact that, Jody is absolutely stunning, and well…you see where I’m going with this.
Their little guy, Benjamin, is pretty stinking adorable. Most kids are a little shy when it comes to meeting new people, especially a photographer, the crazy lady who is shoving a big black box in my face lol. He and I hit it off, immediately! By the end of the session, we were best buds. Which is a good thing because he’ll be back for the baby’s newborn session.
His dad, Jeremy, on the other hand was just like any other guy when it comes to photographs. They want nothing to do with it, they think it’s stupid, and they think – why do these women make us do this stupid shit! Well, like any other dad/husband, I called him out on his shit! By the end of the session I had him laughing, like truly authentic laughter. Because, I am real and honest and I’ll tell you like it is. I will harass the crap outta these dads to the point they either hate me or are speechless because they are laughing so hard. And the ladies, oh man, I love when they watch their partner squirm from my crazy antics. Because they know that I’m only saying what they are thinking, but don’t dare say. I don’t care – I’ll say it! lol!!
Gah! She is so gorgeous! I 100% did not look this good pregnant!
In just in case you were wondering how my pictures are always perfect…truth is….they aren’t. Here’s a behind the scenes to show my assistant straightening Benjamin’s shirt and photo he’s holding. And then getting the hell outta there before he moves so I can grab the shot!
