I had the pleasure of meeting this little guy earlier this spring. His parents travelled the hour and a half to come see me. Honestly, it still blows my mind that people travel so far to see little ol’ me to have their newborns photos done. I asked them when they arrived how his trip went and his momma says -‘I don’t know why I was so concerned about travelling with him…he slept the WHOLE trip.’ Followed by – “I hope he cooperates for you”. I told her not to worry. He wouldn’t be able to resist my baby whispering skills. He woke up briefly during our session to have a little snack. When he was finished, I wrapped him up nice and snug. He watched me briefly, gave me some incredible eye contact, just enough for one photo, and went back to his demanding job of sleeping. 🙂
His mommy asked if it was ok if she brought a little outfit along to have him photographed in and of course I said yes!! Oh my Lord, I almost died when she pulled this outfit out of her bag!! SO SO SO CUTE!!
The potato sack pose is the one pose I do every. single. session. It’s the very first pose I do, especially if clients have travelled a distance to see me. Baby feels safe and secure when he’s all wrapped up nice and snug and warm. Definitely my go to pose.
“Well hello, Mister Bright Eyes!”
And…..right back to sleep….
Love me a baby in a bucket! One of the most requested photos by all my client’s mamas.
Close-up!! Look at those eyelashes. It’s one thing that will make or break an image for me. If I can’t count eyelashes, it’s not sharp enough!
